Great trumpeter Freddie Hubbard is dead. He was tired and ill. Goodbye. I remember three concerts in Sardinia in twentyfive years. I think he was the last fascinating trumpeter of jazz golden era. "Open sesame" for Blue Note (1960) is the best record. Marco Bittau
